The traditional business model focuses on physical input and output to drive results with little consideration for the other key aspects such as the wellbeing of employers and employees and anyone who comes into contact with the business, such as customers, investors, vendors, etc., also known as stakeholders.
Having a holistic approach to business means looking at business as a whole interconnected entity; understanding the bigger picture, not only thinking outside the box but removing the box completely.
The holistic approach to wellbeing has been around since the 4th Century BC, taught by Hippocrates who encouraged people to look at themselves as a whole person rather than just focusing on a specific body part or illness. Kizzi Magazine’s goal is to bring this holistic approach to business. Developing holistic views on markets, businesses, companies, and products increase the likelihood of success and growth.
To many this is similar to a ‘conscious capitalism’ perspective in that a business is intentionally making decisions and taking actions to benefit all stakeholders.
